Today was a very sad day in my house: Sam flew back home to England :[ I told myself that I would not cry because it just makes the time we do have together sad. It didn't help that I found out his flight was earlier than I thought, but what could I do? I pretty much cried all afternoon and pushed him away whenever he went to hug me. I was in denial that he was leaving so soon after getting used to having him around all the time. I am REALLY going to miss waking up and seeing him and knowing he is in the house somewhere. He also opened my car door for me Every Single Time. I joked to him in the past about the whole driving thing because he can't drive here so I'm carting us around. So he makes it a point to open it for me :] even if I open it myself and already in the seat, he grabs me out of the car, closes the door, then reopens it for me :] Love that he does that <3 I was a wreck at the airport. I kept asking him why he wasn't crying, which made me cry even more. Once I gave him a last kiss, I turned around, put my hand over my mouth, and just cried. Really cried, not just silently crying... ugh starting to get teary eyed thinking about it. It's going to be hard to pass by the guest room for the next few days. He won't be in there and his things are gone. He left some shirts and random things for me, and that really helps :] only 165 more days until I can see him again, and we both have school and work. We will be busy which will help, just not looking forward to the whole "When are we going to get to talk next" type of thing. We both know this is what we need to do and we can't change anything. If we could, things would have changed a long time ago. Just gotta stick to it knowing we will see each other again :]

On a brighter note, I will have more time to work on my blog! My blog design was ready when Sam flew in, so I haven't had time (or for the matter, didn't want to spend time on this thing). But now, I will be able to post more! This will be more than just an online diary. I want to be more crafty and try more things. Like recipes, holiday decor, clothes, basically just DIY stuff that actually works. The whole online diary thing will still be here, but I don't want my blog to be just my thoughts. Exciting!

Going to try to get some sleep. Will be hard falling asleep by myself (he would stay in my room until I fell asleep then went back to his room), but I have a routine. I fall asleep to the TV on a timer, so I will just do that. I am tracking his flight right now and he is in Canada, about 6 hours and 20 more minutes more to go. Poor guy :[ I hope his flight is going smoothly with all the storms in his flight path!

Will start to post more regularly now, so stay tuned! I want to post about 2-3 times a week :]

Do you ever go on vacation and find yourself sleeping in more and more? Yeah, that's happening to me. It's 10 am and Sam and I were supposed to go to Tonto's National Bridge in Payson today, but it may be too late. He is still sleeping, so I'll just wait until he wakes up. It is SO hard waking up Sam! I swear he can sleep through an earthquake and tornado at the same time. Sound doesn't wake him up, and neither does poking. No, you have to roll him over and shake him until he wakes up! It's a work out I tell you haha.

Yesterday was a lazy day, just watched a few movies and swam and had lunch. It wasn't the happiest of days either, lots of arguing. To me, that will happen. Not being together for 5 1/2 months, then being together 24/7 for a few weeks will be difficult. We are still learning from each other and understanding our behaviors and how to act around each other. We are both very sensitive, strong, opinionated people. When one gets frustrated or mad, it bounces to the other person making them unhappy. We talk about the problem, never keep it inside. Maybe it will take a few hours to talk about it, but we always do. That's what I like about us: we don't keep things inside. We are usually civil about our discussions, but we hardly yell (sometimes I wish we did just to get our anger out). For the most part, I an SO proud of where we are today. We have both made huge mistakes that we aren't proud of, but for being 7000 miles away 90% of the time, we are doing pretty damn good. People have to remember we aren't a normal couple, and we will never be. We have to make more sacrifices then most couples, and have more understanding. But to people who are in a long distance, it IS possible. It is hard for those who start in a normal relationship then move to LD, but it isn't impossible. Normal couples have the luxury of knowing they will talk to their partner later in the day, and seeing them in the evening. I don't. Skype works 50% of the time, and our texts sometimes never reach each other, leaving hours of not knowing what happened. Email rarely gets to the other person, and sending letters is a joke because they get lost. Facebook/Gmail doesn't work when Skype doesn't work... it's just a long hard process JUST to say hello and I Love You.

Blah enough about this. I go on rants when talking about this :P

Now off to go get some breakfast and hopefully still be on the road in an hour or so. Really want him to see this! Oh, and Sam is HOT HOT HOT. He has never seen temperatures reach this high before, poor guy. It's hot for me, imagine how he feels!

Okay I'll write later and post pictures! Need to learn to do that anyways :D

Have a great day!

Still need to get used to this blog! Since having the final product, Sam and I have been pretty busy. I have a little bit to write something! My parents and Sam are watching "Acts of Valor" and I'm just on my computer looking at celebrity gossip websites and pinterest. Oh how I love them! I am so intrigued with the lifestyle of a celebrity. Sometimes I envy them, but most of the time I'm glad I'm not famous. Yes there is the money, but that's pretty much it. No privacy, always have the pressure to do good, make sure you are in the spotlight, pleasing everyone, etc. I just like to read about what they are up to haha. Sam doesn't get it. I also love reality tv. Don't ask me why, I'm just interested!

We went to the grand canyon and flagstaff to visit NAU's campus for both Sam and I. Sam really liked the campus, and I like it more and more whenever I see it. I'm doing school through NAU at Paradise Valley Community College, but still want to get my masters so I need to look into that in the next few months. The grand canyon was nice to see again. The first time Sam saw it, there was a snow storm. So he couldn't see anything. Poor guy, we all felt sorry for him. But this time, his first reaction was priceless :] He was in awe!

For the 4th, we all went to the Paradise Valley Country Club to have a barbecue and watch the fireworks. There was a snow cone machine, and I was all for it. Ended up getting 2! The fireworks display was 25 minutes, and didn't disappoint. It was Sam's first 4th here and he loved it :D During the display, there was patriotic songs playing in the background. I asked him if he knew any of them (thinking he obviously didn't) but he knew a few! Was so proud haha. I would post pictures but I'm not sure how to do that, but I will learn!

Sam and I went to Dave and Busters today! Never been, and we went to the one on Tatum north of the 101. It didn't have that many games, but it sure was fun winning tickets! We did the eat and play deal, where we got to choose a meal and received a game card that had 125 points on it. We got 2 cards, so it was pretty nice! We won 1476 tickets total, and all we got was candy haha. Oh well, was fun winning! Sam played this gun game called "Time Crisis", and wow he is good! I remember playing that when I was visiting him, and it is not an easy game. It's a boys game anyways haha. But we did play a racing game and I won that one!

I guess I need to watch the rest of this movie, or figure out how to post pictures. Meh, I'll just go on pinterest! That sounds more fun :D

My first blog is finally here! Wahmaholic Designs did a FANTASTIC job and I am so beyond happy with the final product. I'm just getting started so I don't need all the fancy stuff. If I enjoy this I will definitely go back to Kaye to help me add to it. I will write more, but this is just my "first" blog post to see what it will look like! Plus, today is a very exciting day! Sam is coming to visit right now and he JUST took off (he texted me letting me know <3) so I only have 10 more hours to get everything together! Fun fun fun :D
