I am 21 years young and I live in Arizona! Born and raised here, so I am pretty much an expert by now.. (not). I live with my parents who have been together for over 25 years, and that is rare these days. I have a younger brother who is going to be a sophomore in college. Where has the time gone?! I also have pets galore in my home. 3 dogs and 2 cats :D I am a cat lover, and I will always have a cat. Don't get me wrong, dogs are fun as well.
My dad has his Masters in Business and is currently a luxury real-estate agent. My mother is a fabulous stay-at-home mother who loves any type of art. She takes art classes for fun and also to strengthen her skills. Put my parents together, and they are the perfect team to buy-and-sell homes. They enjoy looking at homes and picturing it in a way no one else can see. My mom picks out the decorations/paint/appliances/tile/carpet/etc (mostly) for the homes, and my dad designs the layout. It's fun to see them both do something they are passionate about. That's what I'm striving to do :]
I am currently going to school for a dual major: Special Education and Elementary Education. I will be starting that program in Fall of 2013, and I cannot be more excited! I have always wanted to teach, but put that in the back of my mind thinking I couldn't make a living doing that. But if I am going to spend 40+ hours a week outside of my home, it better be a place where I laugh and not sit around a desk all day. Boring!
I am an owl fanatic. Ask any of my friends, and they will tell you I am completely OBSESSED with them. I have owl decorations on my wall, owl keychains, owl candles/stuffed animals/lights/calendars/etc! My nana was an owl lady, so I guess I got that from her :D I even have an owl tattoo! Dedication at it's finest.
I paint my nails whenever I possibly can. But after a day I repaint them because either: one of them chipped so I have to do them all over again, or I just pick them off because I'm bored or don't like the design anymore. I have a collection of nail polish, and whenever I go to a store I must get a nail polish. It's another obsession I have.
And I created this blog to just rant and do whatever! Mostly to share to family members what I am up to, and to friends who are there for support. I will always have this blog, and cannot wait to make it grow. So stay tuned!
