Still need to get used to this blog! Since having the final product, Sam and I have been pretty busy. I have a little bit to write something! My parents and Sam are watching "Acts of Valor" and I'm just on my computer looking at celebrity gossip websites and pinterest. Oh how I love them! I am so intrigued with the lifestyle of a celebrity. Sometimes I envy them, but most of the time I'm glad I'm not famous. Yes there is the money, but that's pretty much it. No privacy, always have the pressure to do good, make sure you are in the spotlight, pleasing everyone, etc. I just like to read about what they are up to haha. Sam doesn't get it. I also love reality tv. Don't ask me why, I'm just interested!

We went to the grand canyon and flagstaff to visit NAU's campus for both Sam and I. Sam really liked the campus, and I like it more and more whenever I see it. I'm doing school through NAU at Paradise Valley Community College, but still want to get my masters so I need to look into that in the next few months. The grand canyon was nice to see again. The first time Sam saw it, there was a snow storm. So he couldn't see anything. Poor guy, we all felt sorry for him. But this time, his first reaction was priceless :] He was in awe!

For the 4th, we all went to the Paradise Valley Country Club to have a barbecue and watch the fireworks. There was a snow cone machine, and I was all for it. Ended up getting 2! The fireworks display was 25 minutes, and didn't disappoint. It was Sam's first 4th here and he loved it :D During the display, there was patriotic songs playing in the background. I asked him if he knew any of them (thinking he obviously didn't) but he knew a few! Was so proud haha. I would post pictures but I'm not sure how to do that, but I will learn!

Sam and I went to Dave and Busters today! Never been, and we went to the one on Tatum north of the 101. It didn't have that many games, but it sure was fun winning tickets! We did the eat and play deal, where we got to choose a meal and received a game card that had 125 points on it. We got 2 cards, so it was pretty nice! We won 1476 tickets total, and all we got was candy haha. Oh well, was fun winning! Sam played this gun game called "Time Crisis", and wow he is good! I remember playing that when I was visiting him, and it is not an easy game. It's a boys game anyways haha. But we did play a racing game and I won that one!

I guess I need to watch the rest of this movie, or figure out how to post pictures. Meh, I'll just go on pinterest! That sounds more fun :D
